Your sofa is the largest filter in your home. In Malé's humidity it holds dust mites, skin cells, salt residue and moisture — and none of it comes out with a vacuum.
Maldivian homes run warm and humid nearly year-round, and that is exactly the climate dust mites and mould spores prefer. Fabric that feels dry to the touch can still hold enough moisture deep in the foam to sustain microbial growth. Salt carried in on the sea breeze settles into fibres and makes them attract and hold damp. A domestic vacuum lifts the surface layer and leaves the rest.
We dry-soil extract first, pre-treat stains and high-contact areas by fabric type, then run hot-water extraction to pull the loosened soil and moisture back out. Fabric is tested for colourfastness before anything wet touches it. Air movers cut drying time so nothing is left damp in a humid room — the single most common cause of a sofa smelling worse a week after it was cleaned.
Fabric and leather sofas, armchairs and recliners, dining and office chairs, headboards, ottomans, curtains and cushion inserts. For offices we work outside business hours so nothing is out of use during the day.
